Doug Andersen, CEO

Doug Andersen has more than 25 years of experience in the IT services industry. He has founded and funded a number of start-up firms, and has taken equity positions in other related services, technology and wireless companies. Doug has helped these businesses consistently experience significant revenue and profitability growth even during the most volatile economic times. He accomplishes these successes by keeping a sharp eye on growth opportunities and expense control, recruiting talented team members and employing an experienced and expert management team.

Under Doug’s leadership, Pierce Professional Resources has built an impressive network of clients and has become the “go to company” for many leading firms in the pharmaceutical, financial services and management consulting industries. Doug holds a BS in Marketing from Seton Hall University, and an MBA from The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania.

 

George Lane, Managing Director – Technical Services

George Lane has more than 10 years of experience in technology strategy, management, and recruitment supporting commercial and federal government. He is Scrum and ITIL certified with a proven track record of successful delivery and technology services implementation.

George was brought into Pierce to bridge the gap between traditional staffing and managed service provider-ship, helping Pierce become a trusted partner, sharing in the success of project delivery for Pierce’s clients in Healthcare and Finance. His creativity in metrics and risk management through service level agreements have matured Pierce into a partner that Fortune 500 companies look to for their technical service needs.

George has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado and more than 10 years of experience in operations and project management, recruitment management, and pre-sales engineering.

 

Kevin Meandro, VP Finance

Kevin joined Pierce in 1998, advancing within the company to eventually earn his present title of Vice President. He is currently responsible for overseeing the financial activities and operations at Pierce.  His expertise allows him to make informed strategic and long–term decisions, assess financial risk/opportunity, and improve and manage operations, revenue, and cash flow.  Pierce benefits from his expertise in development of the accounting and financial infrastructure, as well as management of accounting systems, compliance, staff, and day to day operations.

While Kevin has over 24 years of operations management experience, his wealth of knowledge began to grow while starting his own business, which he and a fellow student started from their college dorm room. While attending St. Joseph’s University and pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, Kevin built and managed a successful food service staffing business servicing the amusement park industry, operating in 8 parks across the US. While continuing to grow his business, he graduated Magna Cum Laude, then purchased and simultaneously operated 2 food chain franchises in Texas, in addition to the original staffing business. Because of his business’s speedy success and growth, Kevin was featured in a 1992 Small Business Edition of Entrepreneur Magazine as a young entrepreneur.

 

Elena Clausen, Human Resources Manager

Elena Clausen joined Pierce in December of 2007. She is responsible for all aspects of Pierce’s Human Resources Department, from employee relations to compliance, performance management, organizational development, benefits/health and wellness, compensation and payroll. Elena’s approach to organization effectiveness and efficiency has facilitated Pierce’s growth and endurance.

Elena has more than 10 years of experience managing various human resources business functions. Before joining Pierce, Elena served as the Human Resources Specialist of a tri-state real estate company, and previously as a manager of Chef’s International.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University and holds a Master of Arts in Psychology – Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology from Kean University.
